Aisha jamila hinds was born in the United States and is best-known for her role on The Shield. Since her debut in 2003 she has demonstrated her versatility in acting by giving outstanding performances in television series such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7, and Under the Dome. She was first noticed in 2005 when she played her role as Anna, as seen on Assault on Precinct 13 Her role in the biographical film All the Way as the woman's rights activists Fannie Lou Hammer brought her to the attention of the public. Hind received praise for her performance as Harriet Tubman, in WGN America's historical drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television renewed 9-1-1 for a brand new season. Hind is currently filming for the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters. It is scheduled to release around the middle of 2019. Her father Krishnaraj, who was an Army Scientist, who passed away on March 18 2017 and her mother Vrinda both are homemakers. Her older brother is Aditya Rai who works as an engineer in the merchant navy. Bachchan's younger brother, Aditya Rai, co-produced Dil Ka Rishta and wrote it with Bachchan. Arya Vidya Mandir, Mumbai was where her parents relocated to. Jai Hind College in Mumbai is where she completed her secondary schooling in an entire year. She then was admitted to D.G. Ruparel College Matunga is where she scored a mark of 90 % in H.S.C. exams. She took classes in music and ballet for five years of her years as an young adult. Zoology was one of her subjects. Bachchan was studying architecture at the time she won the title of Miss World in 1994. The title brought her into the fast lane of modeling. She was awarded lucrative contracts for Vogue magazine and PepsiCo Inc., along with the L'Oreal Paris spokesperson contract in 2003. Bachchan had a popular acting career through her appearances in Iruvar (1997 and Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya (1997). The two films challenged the traditional structure that characterized Bollywood films at the time which pushed Bachchan to the forefront of her own New Bollywood. Bachchan was crowned the new queen of Bollywood following her performance in Devdas 2002, which was one of the most acclaimed Bollywood films. This film also became the first Bollywood film to be screened at the Cannes Film Festival. Chokher (2002) is a dramatic version of the Rabindranath Tagore novel Chokher (2003) received much acclaim. She became the very first Indian actress to serve on the jury of Cannes Film Festival during the same year. Bachchan was on screen in Gurinder Chadha's Bride and Prejudice a musical and dance version to Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. It was at this point that Bachchan made her famous by bringing star power as well as beauty into her debut major film in English. In 2006, she came back to Bollywood with her hit film Dhoom: 2 before releasing Provoked: The True Story (2006). She got married Abhishek Bachchan, who is a co-star, who is the child of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. This marriage has brought two of India's most influential personalities in one place.
