Colson Kelly, who is also referred to under the alias Machine Gun Kelly, has distinct rapping styles. Baker was born in Houston Texas, U.S. on April 22nd 1990 to parents who were of English Scottish German descent. His parents were missionaries and throughout his childhood, they traveled extensively together. The dad James Colson Baker struggled with depression and unemployed while the mother Sonia Alane left them when the age of nine. After that, Baker and his dad moved to Denver in the area where they stayed together with his father's aunt. Baker's lack of resources was a reason to be bullied by children who were around him. When he reached sixth grade, Baker was able to take up the art of rap. Colson Baker popularly known as Machine Gun Kelly was born on April 22 1990 in Texas the U.S. The music he creates is a fusion of modern hip-hop and alternative, as well as rock. Baker has released four mixtapes in from 2007 to 2010 prior to signing with Bad Boy Records. This Cleveland artist, who can deliver the lyrics with as much speed as bullets, saw an explosive rise in the latter part of 2011, after he shifted from self-publishing mixtapes to being signed to reputable labels. From there his career skyrocketed and each album being ranked within the top 10.
