Eva Mendes (born in New York City) is an American actress and model. Eva Mendes was first discovered by a talent agency who noticed her potential. They convinced her that she could pursue a position in the entertainment industry. Her decision to drop out of college was a result of much reflection. Following a disappointment with her appearance, she made her film debut with Children of the Corn V Fields of Terror. To improve her performance, she worked very hard and appeared in numerous low-budget films to demonstrate her skills. The journey of this actor was not easy however, his tenacity and willpower were rewarded. The acting career began after she received fame, positive reviews and recognition for her role as a character in Training Day.
